Pink eye can easily be characterized by discomfort, tearing, discharge from the eyes, irritation of the eyes, itchiness of the eyes and watery eyes. Some cases of pink eye can also be accompanied by mild fever.

Is Pink Eye Contagious?

It is important to understand that only pink eye triggered by bacterial infections or viral infections is the one that is contagious. Pink eye triggered by allergic reactions is not contagious.
