Many couples have a problem to get a child and it has been estimated that even about 15% of the couples in the world have the problem with infertility. A couple is infertile if they cannot stay pregnant after minimum a year of having unsafe sex. This problem is quite common, but the people are not comfortable talking about it.

There is a number of reasons that might be behind infertility. It has been observed that in one third of the infertility cases, the problem is related to women, in the second third the men have some problem which disables the couple to have the child, and in the last third the combinational factors interfere with the couple’s effort to conceive the pregnancy.

Infertility symptoms in women

The irregularities of the menstrual cycle are one of the indicators of the infertility problem in women since when the menstruation is irregular, it points out to the problem with ovulation. The women who have extremely light or heavy menstruation, as well as severe menstrual cramps, may have problems to stay pregnant. Furthermore, infertility can occur in women who suffer from the lack of ovulation, which is marked by having the menstruation but without the previous ovulation.

Hormonal imbalance, which occurs due to increase in the levels of the male hormones in a woman’s body, is also a cause for the concern since it may also lead to infertility. The women with this problem will experience excess facial hair, chronic acne and problems with menstrual cycle. Polycystic ovary syndrome may cause problems to conceive pregnancy mainly in older women. Infertility symptoms in men

The most obvious symptom of infertility problem in men is the problematic ejaculation. Retrograde ejaculation is the condition when men have erection and climax, but do not ejaculate anything. This happens because the semen goes to the bladder and not to the penis. Early ejaculation, loss of libido and poor quality of semen are also some of the symptoms of the men’s infertility. Erectile dysfunction, as well as sperm defects, may also indicate towards the infertility problem in men.
