Serotonin is a certain type of neurotransmitter which is commonly present as a contributing factor in phobias, social anxieties, body dysmorphic disorders, bulimia, anorexia, obsessive compulsive disorder and depression. Serotonin is also very important in the regulation of body temperature, libido and sleep. Serotonin can be considered as the fuel which gets the brain running properly.
