British virgin, 70, looking for husband

Millions of Americans would be happy if more young women bought into the message of abstinence before marriage. Perhaps they can learn something from their neighbors across the pond? One British lady declared that she is ready to get married and to lose her virginity... at age 70! Cabaret singer Pam Shaw was known as the Sexational Pam, but doesn't believe in sex before marriage and has always been single until now.

What does the maiden have to say about her virginity, and her wish to get married at long last? She told the British tabloid the Sun, known for its outrageous bits of "news": "Now's the time. I'm ready to take the plunge for the right bloke. My standards are still very high, though. I'm hoping to bag a tall, dark and handsome millionaire. I feel I am ready to give marriage a go and maybe go to bed with a man. You are never too old for anything. Just look at Joan Collins". Pam added: "I like to think I'd be a real catch." The Sun included pictures of Pam when she was in her twenties, and when she hang out with famous folks like Tom Jones.

I have to admit that the 70 year old, who was extremely beautiful in her younger years, still has fantastic legs. She does score high in the mutton dressed as lamb department. I'm not sure that a "real catch" is the best way to describe any 70 year old virgin, but you sure have to admire Pam for sticking to her values, and deciding to focus on her career surrounded by all kinds of tasty specimens, which she apparently wasn't tempted by. I hope that Pam finds a great match!
