It is called heart menopause or heart symptoms associated with menopause. Not a lot of women know that actually a heart palpitation is one of the most common symptoms of prevalent menopause. Most women are aware of the fact that it is not easy to find a menopause relief for symptoms of perimenopause. Even though it is quite hard to find an actual relief for this, women can try certain natural and medical medicines that are supposed to help in this situation.
In most cases, heart palpitations are not a sign of pain but they are an almost certain sign of hot flash. Hot flash, as most women know, is one of the first signs of menopause. Every person can experience heart palpitations. Heart palpitations are an irregular heartbeat. However, there are a lot of women who experience them during the menopause or are about to go into menopause. Even though heart palpitations do not cause pain, they can surely be felt.
In some cases of heart palpitations, a person will notice a heart skipping a beat or beating way to many times. When a hot flash is present, a person’s heart rate may even reach 200 beats in 60 seconds. A woman experiences heart palpitations during menopause due to fluctuation hormones in her body. The fluctuation of hormones changes the levels of estrogen and some other hormones which make the heart try to adjust. These hormonal changes are also the cause of hot flash.
When to call a doctor
People should know that the palpitations will go away in a couple of months but they should consult a doctor as soon as they occur. Menopause is only one of the causes of heart palpitations and some other causes are quite dangerous. Some of the other causes of heart palpitations besides menopause are anemia, hypoglycemia, heart disease, thyroid conditions and the intake of too much alcohol, nicotine or caffeine.
